Smeg is an Italian home appliance company. It has divisions Smeg Foodservice and Smeg Instruments, which manufacture devices for catering and medical institutions. But the predominant part of production is aimed at creating household appliances for home use.
The company was founded by Roberto Bertazzoni in the 19th century and initially specialized in blacksmithing. Over time, it changed the direction of its activities and, in 1906, the company released the first kitchen stove.
Today the company specializes in the manufacture of large and small household appliances: ovens, hobs, and centers, coffee machines, dishwashers and washing machines, hoods, wine cabinets, refrigerators, blenders, mixers, kettles. In addition, Smeg manufactures its own kitchen sinks and faucets.
The technique is equipped with many technologies for convenient, safe, and energy-efficient use. The manufacturer pays great attention to the appearance of its products and the selection of quality materials. Guido Canali, Mario Bellini, Piano Design studio, Mark Newson, Giancarlo Condeago are working on the creation of a special design of the Smeg technique.
