Cassina is an Italian manufacturer of designer furniture. The company was founded by brothers Cesare and Umberto Cassina in 1927 in the city of Meda.
A number of famous designers collaborated with the company, including Philippe Starck, Piero Lissoni, Alessandro Mendini, Gio Ponti, Vico Magistretti, Ico Parisi and many others. With the help of Franco Albini, the company moved from traditional furniture production to original and non-standard solutions.
