Müller Möbelwerkstätten has been developing and manufacturing high quality furniture in the north of Germany for over 140 years. Gerhard Wilhelm Otchen laid the foundation for the traditional company when he founded a carpentry workshop in Bockhorn in 1869. 30 years later, his son August takes over the handicraft business and builds a head office at Urwaldstrasse 8, which still serves as the company's headquarters. Today Müller Möbelwerkstätten is a medium-sized family business with 40 highly qualified employees, run by Jochen Müller, who is the 5th generation, continuing a long tradition of crafts and furniture.
